Qosmio X770/X770 3D
Toshiba today unleashed new and refreshed consumer notebooks, including the Satellite C600 series starting at $379.99 and the top-of-the-line Qosmio X770 3D.
First up is the heavyweight flagship consumer multimedia notebook, the Qosmio X770 and X770 3D. Designed for gaming and multimedia, the X770 features the new second-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, up to 8GB of RAM, and a fast Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M graphics card with 1.5GB of dedicated memory for gaming. It features Nvidia Optimus technology, which automatically switches to integrated graphics to save power and extend battery life.
Additionally, the Qosmio X770 notebook features up to 1TB of hard drive space, a USB 3.0 port, and harman/kardon speakers. The options list includes a Blu-ray player and Bluetooth v3.0.
The X770 3D is identicaly to the X770 save of course for the screen. The X770 3D has a full HD (1080p) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and uses Nvidia 3D VISION to achieve the 3D effect. The X770 3D is additionally available with a Blu-ray rewritable drive and up to 1.25TB of hard drive space.

Pricing and Availability The Qosmio X770 starts at $1,199.99; the X770 3D $1,899.99. Both will be available later this month from major retailers and Toshiba Direct.

Satellite P700 Series

Toshiba has also introduced a new mainstream line of Satellite notebooks. The P700 series is available in a variety of screen sizes including 14-, 15.6-, and 17.3-inch. The notebooks are available with a variety of specifications including second-generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors; dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics or the AMD A6-3400M Accelerated Processing Unit with built-in AMD Radeon graphics; up to a 750GB hard drive; Intel Wireless Display technology; 4G WiMAX; finally, a Blu-ray disc player.
The P700 series also features built-in harman/kardon speakers and USB 3.0. Toshiba also offers a 3D version of the notebook, the P750 3D which features a 15.6-inch 3D display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate (necessary to achieve the 3D effects).

Pricing and Availability The P700 series will be available starting June 21, 2011. The Satellite P745 (14-inch) starts at $699.99; the P755 (15.6-inch) $629.99; and the P775 (17.3-inch) $629.99. The P750 3D will start at $1,199.99.


Satellite L700 and C600 Series
Last but not least, Toshiba did not forget about the budget-conscious and introduced the affordable Satellite L700 and C600 series. The L700 series is available with screen sizes ranging from 13.3 to 17.3 inches while the C600 in either 15.6 or 17.3 inches.
The L700 series is available with AMD and Intel processors; from Intel, second-generation Intel Core i-series processors and from AMD, their new dual-core A4 and quad-core A6 Accelerated Processing Units. The L700 series is available in a variety of colors including Graphite, Silver, White, Red, and Brown. Select models will be available in brushed aluminum blue. Certain configurations will include a Blu-ray drive.

Finally the C600 series is the most affordable. Offered in 15.6- and 17.3-inch  models, it is powered by an AMD C-50 or E-350 Accelerated Processing Unit, includes up to 640GB of hard drive space and 4GB of RAM.

Pricing and Availability The L700 series is available in many configurations; the L735 (13.3-inch) starts at $499.99; the L745 (14-inch) $449.99; the L755 (15.6-inch) $483.99; lastly the L775 (17.3-inch) $579.99. The C600 series start at $379.99. The notebooks will be available later this month from major retailers.
